Tragic School Bus Crash in Tennessee Leaves Two Students Dead
Authorities in Tennessee are investigating a fatal crash that happened Friday involving a school bus carrying students on a field trip.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the accident involved a Kenwood Middle School bus, a Tennessee Department of Transportation dump truck, and another vehicle.
According to school officials, the bus was heading to Jackson with students and staff when the crash occurred in Carroll County. There were 25 students and five adults on board, and tragically, two students lost their lives.
Vanderbilt Health stated that four children were airlifted to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.
Local leaders expressed condolences to the families affected, while authorities say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
